NeoMatic is a colombian entrepreneurship company based in Medellín, Colombia. We design and create urban bags, backpacks, and messenger bags with recycled bicycle tubes.

Our artisanal bags use rubber tubes as raw material, our products help to reduce the amount of waste heading to landfills or possibly contaminating water sources.

Our main motivation is to generate a more responsible consumption habit, offering environmentally friendly, high quality products

What drives us is to responsibly produce utilitarian, high end, bags that are also practical for the modern urban lifestyle, while maintaining a reasonable price.

Neomatic Workshop’s objective is to minimize the environmental damage by recycling and reusing waste in order to produce our urban bags

In a world with consumption dynamics that produce waste way greater than the system’s capacity to recycle it, it is necessary to find ways to reutilize those supplies, otherwise they will contaminate for a few centuries until they completely degrade.   

We source the materials from different local bike shops around the city. Without their support, these tubes would not be recycled and they’d end up in a landfill.

By January 2020, our workshop recycles approximately 300 bicycle tubes each month, the bags we make are distributed online and in local bike shops in Bogotá and Medellín. We ship to Colombia, the United States, and soon Canada and the European Union.
